Welcome to our Super Cellar blog! This is Tony, wine manager and resident wine geek here at Super Cellar.
I will be using this site to post wine tasting notes, reviews and creating dialogue about wines.
Has anyone had any good vino lately? Was it something you bought here or maybe a wine that we don't carry or I'm not familair with, we'd love to hear from you. Post your comments here for me and our wine community to discuss.
I was in the store through the Holiday's and You all have a great selection. I'll be back to chat with you soon!

Tasting Highlights from Mohegan Sun 2009
ReplyDeleteIf money was no object then the Angelini Plozza No.1 - Numero Uno 2002 along with the Stags Leap Wine Cellars Artemis Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 and Andrew Geoffrey Cabernet Sauvignon “Diamond Mountain” 2003 would be my top three picks.
Numero Uno is a 100% Nebbiolo
Snappy, yet fully mature tannins with stirring notes of plum, vanilla, cinnamon, apple compote and pepper. A zesty, bold, and respectable wine with a long-lasting finish.
Italian Wines

Have you tried Newport Winery? We went there on Valentine's day weekend and came home with a case of wine. Who knew Rhode Island had nice wine??
