Tony's Wine Tour of California
Tony and his posse are heading to wine country on Sept. 17th thru the 20th. Plan on tastings at Nickel & Nickel Winery, Kenwood Winery, Stags Leap Winery, Stetlzner Winery, Regusci Winery, Girard Winery and anybody else who will let us through the door. Anybody been to these winery's? Have any feedback or suggestions on any other tasting rooms? Anybody gonna be out there during this time frame, let me know we can meet up for a glass of wine.

V Sattui Winery ( http://www.vsattui.com/ ) has a nice selections of wines and a deli with local meats and cheeses ( yum yum !! ) ... Rubicon is a must see ( http://www.rubiconestate.com/flash.php ) and Folie à Deux ( the home of Ménage à Trois red white and rosé ) was kind of fun ( http://www.folieadeux.com/home.html ) .... These are all in the St Helena area.
ReplyDeleteBoeger winery ( http://www.boegerwinery.com/boeger/index.jsp ) is across the state in the sierra foot hills .... they have an awesome Reserve Sangiovese ( 2000), and a good Cab based table wine called Hangtown Red.....
